Vintage Nepali Teapot (1960s)

This appears to be made of brass with a tin-color lined interior, wood knob atop (which has a slight chip as shown in photos), and an interestingly snake mouth-shaped spout tip. Dents and dimples suggest this was part of a handmade set used by our mother and father in Nepal in the late 1960s (most of our Nepali pots and pans have similar dents, either from shipping or simply imperfections in the hand hammering process). 
 
See photos for more details of the bumps and chip plus stains and minor rusting on this characterful teapot. Note that the base panel is bent, although the kettle stands evenly without wobbling. We have not polished it to leave the pleasure to any potential buyer.
