Vintage Indonesian Hand Painted Wood Frog Figurine

This little moutached fellow was part of a six-figure band of traditional musicians according to Google. He held a wood stick which is missing, maybe for thumping on the ground. 
 
Knowing our grandmother, who probably bought this as a souvenir decades ago, she probably replaced the spear with a flower. 
 
There is a MADE IN INDONESIA sticker on his base. His paint is fading a bit. The wood is very lightweight. We believe it to be balsa wood. It has a porous look under the paint.
