Vintage Dry Sink with Lid and Storage Compartments

Originally these were used to wash items by pitcher in the top section and store linens below. Today, people use them as dry bars, plant stands (with lid open), and for general storage. 
 
This one does need some love and attention. As shown in photos, the lid is stained and could use some paint or sanding. (It was always covered with textiles in our house.) Inside the top section, there is a stain on the bottom and another on the side of the lid. One of the hinges had to be replaced after some wood broke at some time. There are some minor stains on the front of the top section which could probably be easily cleaned. You will also see a crack or two on the sides. See photos.
 
We think it would be beautiful if painted and restored.
 
Material: Wood. What type we are not certain. Most were made with pine so that is a possibility.
H 30 1/4" x L 29" x W 18"
 
Weight: Too hard to weigh but one person can easily move it around. Bulkiness of the piece would require two people to carry it however.
