Vintage Battered Brass Planter or Kitchen Storage Bowl (Nepal)

We believe this comes from Nepal given the familiar dents and dings that accompanied many of our mother’s Nepali decor back to the USA after living there for 18 months in the late 1960s. 
 
The inner bowl needs cleaning and has the remnants of some tape on the inside that we were not able to remove easily. The exterior has a beautiful patina and as far as we are concerned, the dents add character!
