Vintage Bamboo Cross Country Ski Poles Approx 113.35cm

The original price sticker on one pole has worn off but we were able to make out ‘Cross Country Ski Poles 0403003 $ 5.99 which, if bought in 1970, would be $ 46.78 in today’s dollars. These may date back to the 1960s, however. 
 
We measured them at approximately 44 5/8” in length, which would be 113.35 cm.
 
We would guess these are Liljedahl Tryli Staven vintage ski poles as the leather grips with wrist straps look identical to the confirmed pair of Liljedahl Tryli Staven ski poles we have and these have the remnants of similar sticker markings on the pole shafts. 
 
This pair has seen a lot more use than the other pair. The grip on one is taped on with black tape, the other has floating white tape which may have been used to keep its grip in place, although the grip feels firmly in place without it, perhaps because dry. As mentioned above, several of the Norwegian flag stickers and red bands around the pole are missing. The tips are also a bit bent from use, and a bit rusty, but the poles appear to be structurally sound. The baskets at the bottom seem to be in good condition as well, although they do have some signs of use and one has been changed at least once – one is blue, the other black.
