TOTT 011 Phufa Natural Dye Table Runner

A table runner that could also double as a scarf, this piece still has its original tag from Thailand's Phufa, the outlet for the Occupation Promotion Project of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The tag explains that it was created in Tak Province using natural dyes by a village cloth weaving group, as part of a sufficiency economy program.  It is dated 4 December 2007. We do not believe it was ever used. There are some imperfections in the weaving and there may be a slight stain in one section, which we believe can be washed out.
 
Material is cotton, colored with natural dyes.
