TI 017 Colorful Peacock Batik

Chinese influenced batik design from Pekalongam on the north coast of Central Java. Cloth is stamped with the maker's brand but it is illegible. Also within the design is the wording DEY TUIE N BOEN which we believe is the maker's name although we could not find any reference online.
 
Experts described this piece as high quality with unique colors and print. 
 
Does have some smudges and stains (which we think can be washed out*), minor discoloration, natural imperfections and sticker label residue.
 
*We did give this piece a cold soak in handwashing detergent and several of the stains did lighten or come out. We did not scrub it or apply stain remover, something a buyer may want to do.
 
Material believed to be cotton.
