TI O 051 Indonesian Block Print Wall Hanging

This long colorful single panel piece - an antique Indonesian block print with Chinese influence - has an Alice-in-Wonderland feel to it with curious imagery that draws you in. 
 
We've been told it is unusual in that Indian influence was more common in printed textiles from Indonesia in the 1920s and 1930s when we believe our 'eccentric spinster aunts' (single women in their 30s who travelled the world) probably purchased this piece.
 
Imperfections include some loose threads on the ends and a couple of smudges that could probably be cleaned up.
