TH 008 Dark Blue Karen Woman's Top

Embroidered Karen blouse with 'Job Tears' seedwork as worn by married Karen hill tribe women. This one comes with what appear to be spare seeds sewn loosely near the neckline on the backside. Imperfections include what might be glue stains as shown in one photo. The center section is also much more pink than the camera could capture.
 
An expert pointed out that these tops are made of two long panels sewn together and then embroidered, sometimes with woven designs. This one is both woven and embroidered, meaning it a long time to make.
 
Material is believed to be cotton.
