TH 004 Karen Woman's Top with Seedwork

Embroidered Karen blouse with 'Job Tears' seedwork as worn by married Karen hill tribe women.  Most likely never used.
 
An expert pointed out that these tops are made of two long panels sewn together and then embroidered, sometimes with woven designs. This one is both woven and embroidered, meaning it took a long time to make.
 
Some loose threads, discolored seeds, a mark or two on the upper section which can probably be cleaned, and smudges on a few stitches, but no other noticeable imperfections. Valued at $ 200 but we find that a bit unrealistic...
