TC 007 Chinese Qing Dynasty Civil Rank Badge (Buzi) 1/2

This beautiful kesi tapestry of metallic threads and handpainted imagery features a dragon atop a rock over water. The back lining is silk (with one stain noted from the paint color on the front). It is split down the middle as it was designed to be used on the front of a coat. 
 
The upper right corner was bent over when we found the item, as shown in the photograph. We are attempting to flatten it out carefully.
 
Believed to be from the 19th century, most likely purchased by the Burr sisters in the 1920s or 1930s. 
 
We will probably send this piece to an auction house as we found similar ones online for up to four times as much as we are asking.
