Tall Mexican Heavy Brass Vintage TM Mosy Candlestick Set

With octagonal bases, hollow cores, and the ability to disconnect the base for easier cleaning and transport. 
 
These two beauties may not be identical but they’ve always been paired, our grandmother a fan of mismatched things. Both are from Mexico as marked on the bottom – HECHO EN MEX on one and HECHO EN MEXICO on the other which also has a sticker from Taller Mecanico Mosy from Mexico.
 
We believe they were probably purchased in the 1970s or 1980s by our grandparents who loved holidaying there. 
 
Our mother or grandmother filled the cavities with tinfoil to keep wax from dripping down into the core. We include the tin foil with the candlesticks unless otherwise ordered.
 
Both have signs of age, which polishing may clean up but for some minor nicks and scratches. There are also some rust marks. See photos for more details.
