Sucha: Thai Village Sand Painting (1972) (12” x 10”)

Presumably, this was created by an understudy of famous Thai artist Wancharoen Japakang. The sand painting depicts the lines of traditional Thai houses with a red sun above, on a brown background. The art is still on its original canvas, the background painted white.
 
The work is signed SUCHA. CHIENGMAI. THAILAND. 72. We have been unable to identify any artist of note of that name.
 
This piece does have some smudges but is in good condition given its age.
 
It is priced to find it a home.
