Rare Flat Footed Weighted Base Candlesticks 7 ¾”

With a redder tone than other candlesticks in our collection, we believe these to be brass or bronze but are uncertain. The simply shaped duo have weighted bases and interesting detailing along the base. Two sun-shaped marks were stamped on the edge of the base as shown in photos. We did not make the time to research them.
 
Both could use a very good polishing. Both have some tarnishing. Bases are deteriorating. There is a dent in one base. One has a dollop of wax in the center. See photos. 
 
We found only one other set online, which was being sold with a fluted set of candleholders, four in total for the price of $ 110.
