Nepali Wood Butter Tea Bottle with Brass Straps (Missing Stopper)

Nepali Wood Butter Tea Bottle with Brass Straps (Missing Stopper)

$50.00Price

This was probably bought in the late 1960s when our parents spent 18 months in Nepal, but our appraiser suggested it was probably made in the early 1900s.

It is a wood ‘mini-thermos’ container with decorative brass straps (obviously unpolished at this time) The chain near the neck is usually attached to a cap with bottle stopper.

We would recommend it for decorative use only.

It could use a loving polish and cleaning. There is some waxy residue on the exterior side of the rim, but otherwise, this is in good condition.

H 7 1/8” x diameter 2 ¾”

8.5 oz
