Large Native American Basket 11" Tall 22.5" Diameter

We believe it is a Mono basket open bowl with snake bands circa 1920s. 
 
Our understanding it is made of bunch grass as warp and sedge root, redbud, and bracenfern root as weft. 
 
Our mother used it in her art studio and it does need some cleaning if there is a way to do it safely. Otherwise, it appears to be in great condition.
