Kim Chandler: Bowing Owl, No 1/3 (Black)

Nancy’s youngest daughter, Kim Chandler is an artist with Down Syndrome. This etching is of the burrowing owl, which has a habit of ‘bowing’, or bobbing up and down. She created it as part of a series of animals she loves.
 
It is printed in black on very lightweight, almost transparent handmade ‘saa’ mulberry paper from Thailand. It is numbered*, titled and signed by the artist. 
 
* Numbers are not necessarily limited edition numbers on Kim’s artwork as she gets creative with these numbers…
 
Note: The saa paper has a wrinkle in the lower left corner and a slight crease down the image as shown in photos. A good framer can ensure this does not show if matted and framed.
