Kim Chandler: Bowing Owl, No 1/4 (Black)

Nancy’s youngest daughter, Kim Chandler is an artist with Down Syndrome. This etching is of the burrowing owl, which has a habit of ‘bowing’, or bobbing up and down. She created it as part of a series of animals she loves.
 
It is printed in black on handmade ‘saa’ mulberry paper from Thailand. Numbered*, titled and signed by the artist. Print is not exactly in the middle of the paper as you might notice.
 
* Numbers are not necessarily limited edition numbers on Kim’s artwork as she gets creative with these numbers…
