Double-Handled Decorative Antique Copper Teapot Kettle

We believe that with some polishing, this piece would look so beautiful. It is a simple design, with a few scratches, dents and hand hammering marks. The spout is cast. The bottom third of the pot is what we were told is ‘annealed’ (welded to the body) with a ‘cramp seam’ or ‘dovetailing’ pattern about 1/3 up from the base as shown in photos. That along with the hand hammering suggests it may date back to the 1850-1900. There are no brand stamps or hallmarks that we can find. It is a bit rustic as shown in photos.
 
We could find no comparables online, even when searching for double handles or China, where one assessor told us it may be from. 
 
We would not suggest trying to use it as anything other than decor.
