Decorative Cambodian/Eastern Thai Bamboo Rattan Tiffin Box

This beautiful, handcrafted tiffin box or bento box is decorative only as we found out when trying to open it for photographs (see last photo of the unravelling of the rattan wrap on one arm). It includes interesting stitched patterns on what we believe are stained or lacquered bamboo sheaves that form the sides of each bowl. 
 
There is staining on the lid which we believe is how it was when made. The only real defect is the unravelling of rattan wrap on the one arm as mentioned above which may be able to be restored with careful handling.
 
Warning: Do not wash with water and handle with care to avoid unravelling and warping.
