Coiled Reed Woven Basket (Muted Tones) 8" Tall

Origin and age unknown. Google Search fail! Could be from Nepal or India although we found nothing in the same shape. Our mother likely purchased this in northern Thailand. It is in good condition but, given bright colors inside, it may be faded from being placed in sunlight. The top appears to have some spots that could probably be cleaned off carefully. See photos.
