Coiled Reed Woven Basket (Green and Magenta) 6 1/4” Tall

Origin and age unknown. Google Search fail! Could be from Nepal or India although we found nothing in the same shape. Our mother likely purchased this in northern Thailand. It is in good condition, with natural imperfections – loose reeds inside - but it does have signs of fading from the sun, the green reeds varying in color and much lighter than the bright colors inside.
