Antique Traditional Chinese Padlock with Key
Almost thrown away but saved by a friend with a phone, this unique lock opens with a wiggle of the nondescript key which could easily be mistaken for something worthless. It was meant to be used with trunks, cabinets, closets, chests, and the like.
It hassome scratches and a small dent, possibly created by someone trying to figure out how to open it!
We believe this was made of brass and purchased in the 1920s or 1930s by the Burr sisters or our grandmother.
