Antique Miniature Chinese Robed Figurine

This painted carved figure holds something to its chest presumed to be an offering, one hand holding the base of the item. The figure can be lifted off its pedestal as shown in photos. 
 
The material is believed to be bone or a light stone. The paint appears to have worn off in place but this is still a beautiful tiny piece that might fit perfectly into someone’s collection.
 
Exact age is unknown but we believe it is from the 1920s or 1930s when the Burr sisters visited China. We could not find any comparables online.
