11” Brass Beehive and Diamond Motif with Tulip Sconce Candlestick Set

Rectangular base with non-functioning push up mechanism missing button in one, broken mechanism in the other. These are believed to be of British origin, possibly dating back to the mid or late 1880s, based on comparables online, which are on priced $ 60-70 (excluding the websites that overprice everything!)
 
Not polished. Has patina with tarnish stains and scratches commensurate with age, as well as some chips. One candlestick does appear to be leaning to the side a bit. See photos.
