10 ½” Antique Brass Candlestick (Burr Family Heirloom)

This single square base candlestick was inherited from the Burr family and appears to be of Victorian age, probably purchased in the late 1800s or early 1900s.
 
It would love a good polishing and there is a bit of candle stuck deep inside the chamber. There was once a push up mechanism, but it is no longer working. There are likely to be some scratches on the body (hard to tell without polishing). There is some residue in the crevices probably from a previous polishing. See photos.
 
Comparables online have sold for $ 30-40.
