10 5/8” Well-Loved Old Brass Candlesticks (1800s)

If candlesticks could talk, these two might have tales to tell… Both are dented, scratched, and long unpolished. One has a green stained crack and wobbles. It also has a slightly lopsided sconce at the top (was it thrown across the room once?)
 
Both have the original push up mechanisms to get old candles out but we believe they are not working (we didn’t want to pull or push too hard and break them). It is normal for old candlesticks to have inoperable push up mechanisms.
 
We believe they date back to the mid to late 1800s and originate from England. 
 
H 10 5/8” x L 4 1/8” x W 4 1/8” each.
3 lb 2.5 oz (1 lb 8.5 oz and 1 lb 10 oz each)
